Privacy Policy — Sensor Lab

Sensor Lab (“the app”, “we”) is a collection of on-device sensor and hardware tools. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Data that stays on your device

All sensor work happens locally on your phone and is never uploaded by us:

• Sensor readings (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, light, proximity, etc.) are shown live and discarded, or saved as CSV log files in the app’s private storage.
• Microphone is used only for the sound-level and audio-spectrum tools and for recordings you start yourself. Audio is processed on-device; recordings are saved to the app’s private storage.
• Camera is used only for the heart-rate (light-based) and QR-scanner tools. Frames are processed on-device in real time and are not stored or transmitted.

You control these files: you can open, rename, delete, share, or export them. They are removed when you uninstall the app. We do not have access to them and they are not sent to any server.

Data collected by third parties

The app uses the following Google services, which may collect data according to Google’s own policies:

• Google AdMob serves ads (unless you buy the ad-free upgrade). To do this, AdMob uses a device advertising ID and standard ad-request information. See Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543 You can reset or limit this ID in your device settings under Privacy → Ads.
• Google Play Billing processes the optional one-time “Remove ads” purchase. We do not receive or store your payment details.
• Google Play In-App Review may show a rating prompt. It is handled entirely by Google Play.

We do not run our own analytics, we do not require an account, and we do not collect your sensor data, recordings, location, or contacts.

Children

Sensor Lab is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your choices

• Buy the one-time Remove ads upgrade to stop ad serving.
• Reset or opt out of ad personalization via your device’s advertising settings.
• Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored files.
